I have experience in psychological therapy across the lifespan, working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and I have worked as a part of community mental health teams at both St Vincent’s Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital. I have also worked within private practice at headspace Bondi Junction and Dr Amanda Hale Clinical Psychology in Lindfield.
I adopt a client-centred approach to treatment planning, and I enjoy working with modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I have experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders, as well as speciality in the treatment of both co-morbid problem gambling and emotional dysregulation.
I completed both my Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours in Psychology) and Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney.
I whole-heartedly support a strengths-based approach to therapy, and I work collaboratively with clients to provide skills and support to assist in coping with life's many stressors. I am a big believer in the importance of staying up-to-date on developments in clinical approaches in order to provide the best evidence-based treatment for my clients. I feel that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of any therapy journey, and I aim to provide a non-judgemental, open, and warm space for exploration.
